What Komot Is
Komot is a visa preparation tool. It helps you understand how your application looks to an officer, identify weak areas, practice for an interview, and improve your documents. Komot is not a visa consultancy, not a law firm, and not an immigration adviser. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal or immigration advice.
No Guarantee of Approval
A strong score on Komot does not guarantee a visa approval. A weak score does not mean you will be refused. Visa decisions are made by real officers at embassies and consulates based on their own assessment of your full application. Komot gives you preparation — the outcome is outside our control and we make no representations about it.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Submitting false or misleading information through Komot does not affect your liability to the embassy — you are still bound by the truthfulness requirements of your actual visa application. Do not use Komot to rehearse dishonest answers.
Account and Access
You must create an account to use Komot. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the platform, submit offensive content, or attempt to abuse the system.
Intellectual Property
The Komot name, logo, platform design, and all content generated by the platform are owned by Komot. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute Komot content or outputs without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Komot is not liable for any loss, damage, visa refusal, travel disruption, or financial consequence arising from your use of this platform. You use Komot at your own risk. Our total liability in any situation is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users by email. Continued use of Komot after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
