What We Collect
When you use Komot, we collect the information you provide during the application form: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, nationality, visa type, employment status, financial details, travel history, and the purpose of your trip. We also collect the answers you give during mock interviews and file reviews, and any documents you upload for feedback.
How We Use It
We use your information to run your visa assessment, generate your risk analysis, conduct your mock interview or paper review, and produce your scorecard. Your profile data may also be used to improve the quality of our assessment models over time. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
Komot works with third-party infrastructure providers across four categories: secure data storage, AI-powered assessment and analysis, payment processing, and communications. Each provider receives only the minimum data required to perform their function. None of our infrastructure partners are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Where applicable, data shared with these providers is governed by their own data processing agreements.
Document Uploads
Documents you upload are processed to provide feedback. They are stored in our secure database and are not shared with any third party beyond what is necessary for the document review function. You can contact us to request deletion of uploaded documents at any time.
Data Retention
We retain your profile and assessment results for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, email us at hello@getkomot.com and we will remove your record within 7 working days.
Cookies and Analytics
Komot does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts. We may add basic anonymous usage analytics in future. If we do, we will update this policy and notify users.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or request that we delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@getkomot.com.
